Moreover, in opposition to classical bactericides, DeoShoes® acts only when micro-organism are active. We talk about an “on demand” effect.

Thanks to its selectiv effect, DeoShoes® doesn’t act on the feet flora equilibrium.

Exair A-HR-20

Exair

Exair® A-HR-20 is a powerful odour-inhibiting agent produced from a partially polymerised blend of biologically hydro-solubilised natural and/or synthetic essences.

Technology description

Exair® A-HR-20 has been specifically designed for the neutralisation of significant olfactory pollutions resulting from the breakdown of organic materials (urines, faeces, organic wastes), from human and animal confinement as well as from the breakdown of animal and vegetable fats.

Exair® A-HR-20 exhibits exceptional remanence which varies from 4 to 8 weeks. Applied to vertical surfaces, Exair® A-HR-20 binds to these and slowly releases its active agents by contact with air, ensuring a full and lasting neutralization.

Exair® A-HR-20 has a typical lemony fragrance.

Use advice

Exair® A-HR-20 is used undiluted for the treatment of surfaces by spraying, using a pre-pressurised spray device (kind horticultural) and/or a hand-held trigger spray-gun.

Exair® A-HR-20 is applied onto the peripheral surfaces of olfactory pollutions or directly onto their source as a fine film.

  • Intensive smells: 3 – 6 sprayings per m² at 15 cm from the surface to treat
  • Light smells : 1 – 3 spraying per m² at 30 cm from the surface to treat

The rate of Exair® A-HR-20 consumption depends on the area to be treated, on the intensity and degree to which the olfactory pollutions reappear, as well as on the support porosity and temperature conditions.

Implementation advice

Septic’Air® is used by direct incorporation into foul-smelling volumes (like septic tanks, …) or by indirect incorporation into effluents in order to treat drains (like non-accessible septic tanks,…)

  • Treatment by direct incorporation :

Pre-dilute Septic’Air®, according to the area to be treated, in a bucket of water and incorporate it directly in the foul-smelling effluents.

Recommended dilution rate : 0.1 % to  1 % in volume of Septic’Air®.

  • Treatment by indirect incorporation :

Incorporate Septic’Air® in all volumes filled with water, mix and then drain off (like baths, sinks, shower bases, openings, …) Recommended dilution rate : 1 % to  2 % in volume of Septic’Air®.

Sol’Air® is not foamy, has a grease-removing power and an olfactive signature with fresh and lemony connotation.

Implementation advice

Sol’Air® is used by direct incorporation into floors wash water after previous dilution carried out in a water bucket with the right dose. This one depends on the volume to treat and the intensity of the olfactory pollutions present.

  • Treatment with no recycled wash water (self-washer, road sweeper, …) :

Recommended dilution rate : from 0.03% to 1% of Sol’Air®.

 

  • Treatment with recycled wash water (floor cloth, …) :

Recommended dilution rate : from 2 to 4 Sol’Air® measuring caps (50mL) per 10 liters of water.

Sol’Air®  has no incompatibility with usual detergent products apart from bleach.

Exair A

The family of Exair active components is for the treatment of smelling gaseous emission from industrial processes.

Characteristics
  • They allow the production of a significant reduction of odors within the work volume and in the scope of perception of the site.
  • Exair products come into biologically micro hydro solubilized solution.
  • The performance of neutralizing agents is the adequacy of a formulation to the problem. Thus, Exair family is in the form of several products whose reactivity meet the different types of gaseous odors or structures they face.
  • The quality of the implementation technique (obtaining a maximum exchange surface, a rapid shift in the gas phase and a sufficient contact time) determines the optimization and performance of the treatment.

 The reduction of odors leads, in optimal conditions, reduced olfactory approaching neutrality in local and peripheral perception not only of points.

Implementation fields

Exair range of products are intended to treat all closed or free volumes (storage buildings, local processes, composting platform) by air micronization and treatment of malodorous gases from: chimneys, vents, air extraction, ventilation.

But also by incorporating in the ground or in the air scrubbers or scrubber.

Implementation

The Exair products implementing engineering is perfectly located to different forms of micronization processes adapted depending on the process to process, but also in process water (scrubber) or incorporated directly into the effluent.

 

Several kinds of processes are on the market DEPENDING on the kind of app :

  • “fluid Group mono high pressure” allows micronize a fog of extremely fine (particle size <10 microns) without air supply.
  • Technical bi-fluid air / liquid sprays :
  • high pressure (air pressure 6 bars – particle size between 7 and 15 microns) that are particularly suitable for treating stacks;
  • Low pressure with large air flow (50-70 m3 / h per nozzle fed – particle size between 25 and 40 microns) for the treatment of local or outside.

Range of products
  • Exair A : odor inhibitor broad spectrum of action, especially in the atmospheres high in sulfur-containing structure, mercaptans, sulfides, condensable.

Examples: yeast production process, drying process (alfalfa, grains), fat waste from frying pan, local stationery, local sewage plant, beet washing process, vegetables, rendering, …

  • Exair A2 : micronisable product for the treatment of waste gases or high load volumes of ammonia (NH3). Examples: Agro-industries, foundries, tanneries.
  • Exair C : micronisable product for the treatment of gaseous effluents or volumes strong odor of fatty acid.
  • Exair D : inhibitor odor broad spectrum of action, intended to be micronized in atmospheres soft structures are characteristic of the fermentation process (aldehydes, ketones, volatile fatty acids, mercaptans, sulphides).
  • Exair AD : odor inhibitor broad spectrum of action, especially in the atmospheres high in sulfur-containing structure, mercaptans, sulfides, condensable, also presenting the odor characteristics of fermenting products.

  • Exair TMA : odor inhibitor broad spectrum of action on decaying fish smell trimethylamine.
  • Exair CDJH : odor inhibitor for the treatment of gaseous effluents containing aromatic compounds from industrial manufacturing process of tobacco and food products.

Lagun’Air®

Reducing olfactory pollution from process water treatment and storage lagoons.

In order to meet the requirements of the sugar industry the Biothys Research and Development laboratory has developed a simple and ingenious procedure for treating olfactory pollution. The procedure is effective while giving extremely high value for money at competitive rates.

This documentation is intended for industries in a number of sectors, such as the sugar, preserves, petrochemicals, distilling, dried vegetable, waste and water treatment industries.

The Lagun’Air procedure can be applied to all types of tanks or lagoons whatever their size. Lagun’Air®  products are formulated to treat all types of water.

Principle

The originality of the procedure lies in the characteristics of Lagun’Air and in the immersion technique used to implement it.

How it works

Lagun’Air is distributed under the surface of the water. When the tiny drops of product rise to the surface the drops burst into hydrophobic micelles and very quickly spread over the entire surface of the lagoon due to the specific low surface tension of the mixture. This dispersion method is described as “micellogeneous”.

A large exchange surface is obtained between the inhibiting agents contained in the micelles and the malodorous gaseous phase given off by the water.

The active agents evaporate slowly and come into contact with malodorous molecules as soon as they appear above the water (similar to boiling). The active agents reduce the bad smells almost immediately.

The reduction in bad smells is obtained by a physical-chemical reaction between the two gaseous phases and by olfactory compensation of the gassy residual after reaction.

The low vapour tension of the active agents reduces their volatility significantly and results in the agents being extremely persistent and effective over a long period of time.

Product

This is a mixture of hydrophobic active principles whose main features are :

  • insolubility in water
  • specific gravity lower than the density of water
  • components have an important reactivity on various soft structures identified by smelly water basins (sulfur-containing molecules, volatile fatty acids, …)
  • biodegradable 90%

Implementation

Lagun’Air®  products are stored on and distributed from the lagoon banks using an automatic supply treatment unit designed and developed by Biothys. This device can be programmed. The periods in which the product is dispensed can be set in order to have complete control over the quantities of treatment product used.

The installation supplies several injection units using a semi-rigid tube that lies on the bottom of the lagoon. The end of each injection unit is fitted with a nozzle that dispenses the active agents to the surface of the water. A float is fitted under the nozzle to maintain it in a vertical position at the bottom of the lagoon.

The original engineering of the method is economical and easy to use and can be adapted to all types of tanks or lagoons.

The system offers several advantages :

  • The Lagun’Air®   procedure can be managed by simply programming the times at which the product is injected;
  • The position of the injection network provides accurate control over the residential areas to be protected;
  • The originality of the method means that it is not affected by wind and remains in the same position;
  • Being immersed in water protects the piping and the product from freezing;
  • The Lagun’Air®   procedure is controlled by simple programming of the periods during which the product is injected;
  • The Lagun’Air®   procedure can be actuated according to requirements.
  • The Lagun’Air®   products can also be set manually implemented by gravity or by thermal spray back.

Impact on the environment

  • Lagun’Air®  products do not harm gassy exchanges (02 and C02) or the biological balance.
  • Lagun’Air®  products reduce the formation of scum on the water surface.
  • Lagun’Air®  products comprise complexes of essences and natural and synthetic oils. The active agents are 90% biodegradable.
